In CAS 2025/A/11153, the Panel dismissed the appeal of Manuel Ernesto Arias Corco, President of the Panamanian Football Federation, confirming the FIFA Ethics Committee’s decision to suspend him for six months and fine him CHF 10,000 for offensive remarks directed at women players. The Panel held that his repeated and derogatory public statements violated Article 24(2) of the FIFA Code of Ethics and caused reputational damage to women’s football in Panama.
