According to Article 17.4 of the FIFA RSTP, in addition to the obligation to pay compensation, sporting sanctions must be imposed on any club found to have induced a breach of contract during the protected period.

Facts and Procedure

 

According to Fosa Juniors, on 1 November 2016, the Player and Fosa Juniors signed an employment contract, valid from the date of signature until 31 October 2020. Under the said employment contract, the Player was entitled to receive a monthly gross salary and accommodation, transportation, restoration and sports equipment provided by Fosa Juniors.

On 7 June 2018, the Player and Kaizer Chiefs signed a document entitled contract proposal, under which the Player should join the said club for two years starting from 1 July 2018 with a one-year option. Both...
