Witness statements provided by club employees should not be considered as having any legal value for the sole reason of the link between a club and its employees. At the utmost, such a contractual relationship may affect the probative value of a witness statement but does not render such evidence inadmissible or devoid of any legal value.
Facts and Procedure
On 27 January 2018, the club and the player concluded an employment contract. On 23 July 2019, they signed a financial clearance agreement, according to which the club committed itself to pay to the player an amount of Saudi Riyal, payable within 60 days from the day of signature of the said agreement.
