On 23 July 2021, the Colombian Constitutional Court ruled that the right to good name, honor and non-discrimination of female footballers should be constitutionally protected in the South American giant.
The Constitutional Court of Colombia, which is the highest tribunal in the Colombian judiciary regarding matters of constitutional law, issued a ruling in a case dealing with discriminatory comments toward female footballers.
