Regarding compensations for breach based on the specificity of sport as per Article 17 of the FIFA RSTP, the Panel considered acknowledging this criterion is indeed different from having to apply it to each and every case.

Facts and Procedure

 

On 18 January 2017, the Player and the Club signed an employment contract, valid from 18 January 2017 until 31 May 2018. The contract stipulated that the Player should receive a monthly salary and an advance payment payable in three installments.

On 23 February 2017, the Player got injured during an official match. The Player was then prescribed total rest for a month by the Club’s doctor, and by 15 March 2017, the Player attended all official games played by the Club until the end of the season.
