The Irish Minister for Sport Shane Ross has said that all members of the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) Board will step down following a series of governance issues.
Mr Ross revealed that the FAI Board will step down, during a meeting he held at the Irish Parliament (Oireachtas) on 16 April 2019. Accordingly, an emergency general meeting is planned to be called in July 2019 to establish a new FAI Board.
