In early August 2021, the CONMEBOL Single Judge published its latest disciplinary decisions, warning two clubs after a series of CONMEBOL-organized matches, including Copa América, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana fixtures. The aforementioned decisions were taken on 5, 6, 9 and 10 August 2021.
The CONMEBOL Disciplinary Unit and its Single Judge fined several players, club officials and clubs competing in CONMEBOL-organized competitions guilty of breaching several CONMEBOL provisions. The resulting sanctions are explained in detail below.
