In late August 2021, the CONMEBOL Single Judge published its latest disciplinary decisions, warning several football family members after a series of Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana fixtures. The aforementioned decisions were taken on 23 August 2021.
The CONMEBOL Disciplinary Unit and its Single Judge fined two players, three coaches, one club officer and four clubs competing in CONMEBOL-organized competitions. They were found guilty of breaching several CONMEBOL provisions. The resulting sanctions are explained in detail below.
