In mid-July 2022, the CONMEBOL Disciplinary Unit published its latest disciplinary decisions, sanctioning several clubs and individuals after a CONMEBOL-organized fixture. The aforementioned decisions were taken on 19 and 20 July 2022.
The CONMEBOL Disciplinary Unit sanctioned ten clubs and five individuals participating in CONMEBOL-organized competitions. They were found guilty of breaching several CONMEBOL provisions. The resulting sanctions are explained in detail below.
