The mere existence and validity of a contract between a club and a footballer does not per se prevent said player’s registration with another club nor does it imply that, once made, his registration with a second club is invalid.
On 25 June 2017, a football match was played between the Club and Eleven Wonders. On 29 June 2017, the Club filed a protest against Eleven Wonders with respect to the Match, alleging that Eleven Wonders had fielded a player not regularly registered pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) General Regulations.
