On 10 May 2022, the UEFA Executive Committee approved dedicated club licensing regulations for the Women’s Champions League, the competition’s first set of independent licensing regulations.

Licensing was first introduced for the Women’s Champions League in 2019, and, on 10 May 2022, the UEFA Executive Committee approved the first independent Licensing Regulations for the aforementioned competition.
