On 27 June 2018, the Adjudicatory Chamber of the Club Financial Control Body announced that AC Milan had been banned from the Europa League next season after breaking UEFA’s FFP Regulations. Regarding the club Paris Saint-Germain, following the decision of the Chief Investigator to close the investigation - which commenced on 1 September 2017 - the Chairman of the CFCB has decided to send this decision for review by the Adjudicatory Chamber. Generally speaking, both the Investigatory and Adjudicatory Chambers of the UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) have been very active lately.

Monitoring of the club licensing criteria
On 16 April 2018, UEFA announced that four clubs had been sanctioned by the CFCB Adjudicatory Chamber. These cases had been referred to it by the CFCB Chief Investigator, concerning the non-fulfilment of the club licencing criteria defined in the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations. Such criteria must be complied with by the clubs in order to be granted the licence required to enter the UEFA club competitions.

The amount of EUR 215,000, corresponding to the UEFA revenues earned by the club by participating in the 2017-2018 UEFA Europa League, has been withheld.
