The Executive Committee of the AFC approved the new edition of the AFC Code of Conduct on 25 November 2020, which it made public five days later. This new Code of Conduct represents, according to the AFC, a significant improvement to the 2014 edition of the Code, which was released in 2014. Thanks to the new Code of Conduct, the Asian governing body will bring its commitment to integrity and zero-tolerance policy of discrimination, match-fixing and corruption to the next level.
