On 2 March 2020, CAF General Secretary Mr Mouad Hajji announced his resignation. The African Football governing body organized an Emergency Committee meeting to appoint an Acting General Secretary on 3 March 2020, which resulted in Mr Abdelmounaïm Bah’s appointment as CAF Acting General Secretary.
