The present case concerns a contractual dispute between the club Pyramids FC and the player Amor Layouni regarding the payment of an agreed compensation sum under a termination agreement. The FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) ruled in favor of the player, ordering Pyramids FC to pay USD 300,000 plus interest. The club appealed to CAS, arguing procedural violations and contesting the FIFA DRC’s findings. FIFA was also included in the appeal, though it contested its standing to be sued.
