CAS Confirms the Validity of FIFA's Urgent RSTP Amendments amidst the Ukrainian Crisis


On 13 January 2023, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) announced that it had ruled in favor of FIFA's temporal amendments of their Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (RSTP) related to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. Accordingly, it was confirmed that these amendments were valid and not disproportionate.
