CAS decision FC Dynamo Kyiv v. FFU / Standing to be sued

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) released the motivated decision in the dispute between the Ukrainian FA (FFU) and FC Dynamo Kyiv, the club affiliated to the FFU. The CAS decision in proceedings CAS 2017/A/5448 & 5449 & 5450 is not confidential, however, it has not yet been published on the CAS website.

The dispute concerns non-played Ukrainian Premier League matches between FC Mariupol and FC Dynamo Kyiv due to FC Dynamo Kyiv’s non-attendance. The Club’s behaviour was sanctioned by the FFU Control and Disciplinary Committee (FFU CDC) with the usual forfeiture for a non-attended match (0-3). The Second Instance Body Appeals Committee of the FFU upheld the FFU CDC decision.
