What is the situation of the national competitions in your country? Have they been suspended / stopped / resumed? Is suspended, do you know if and when they will resume? If so, under what conditions?
On 26 March 2020, the Belgian FA’s High Council stopped the amateur level football competitions.
On 22 May 2020, the Pro League opted to terminate the 2019-2020 professional football season, with the exception of the Cup final (scheduled for 1 August 2020) and the second division’s play-off final (on 2 August 2020).
It took quite some time for this decision to be made.
Previously, on 2 April 2020, the Pro League’s Board of Directors had advised the General Assembly to terminate the season with immediate effect. In addition, a Working Group was established to discuss the modalities surrounding the football...
