On 14 July 2020, CAS confirmed the ban imposed upon Mr Keramuudin Karim, former President of the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF), concerning the sexual abuse of several Afghani female football players.

Facts and Procedure

On 30 November 2018, the Investigatory Chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee sent a letter to the Afghanistan Football Federation (AFF), in which it was stated that FIFA had initiated an investigation into serious allegations of severe mental, physical, sexual, and equal rights-abuse of female footballers by a male AFF official.
