FIFPRO Reacts to Bogus Settlement


On 4 February 2021, FIFPRO announced that it had informed FIFA of an unlawful settlement agreement concluded between Ghaniain footballer Benjamin Acheampong and Egyptian side Zamalek SC (Zamalek), according to which a player’s agent was given a mandate. The aforementioned mandate was not signed by Mr Acheampong and came to light during the CAS proceedings that opposed the club to the player.
