FIFPRO Reacts to FIFA Decision not to Sanction in Sexual Harassment Case

On 23 May 2022, the world representative association of professional players, FIFPRO, released a public statement criticizing the outcome of a FIFA Ethics Committee case regarding alleged sexual harassment and abusive behavior towards female players.

On 6 May 2021, FIFPRO denounced and made public a series of sexual abuse cases in Argentina committed by an Argentinean Football Association (AFA) coach in the last few years. It should be noted that FIFPRO represented the players before FIFA and had direct communication with FIFA as of 14 February 2021.
