Football Stakeholders Urge FIFA to Modify the International Match Calendar 


The world international association of professional football footballers, FIFPRO, and the World Leagues Association (WLA) released a joint statement concerning ongoing changes to the international match calendar, including the future FIFA Clubs' World Cup, which will feature 32 teams from across all six continental confederations.

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, the 21st edition, will take place in the United States from 15 June to 13 July 2025. The tournament will feature an expanded format with 32 teams and 64 games, including the winners of the four previous continental...
