On 30 September 2020, the Executive Committee of the Football Union of Russia (FUR) approved new Regulations on Working with Intermediaries that come into full force as of 1 January 2021, however, certain changes will apply immediately.
First of all, FUR has deprived foreign companies of the ability to be registered as intermediaries in Russia. Only legal entities established in Russia may act as intermediaries from 2021. A foreign intermediary may work in Russia only as a physical person.
