Incidents in Australian Football


On 17 December 2022, during an Australian A-League first division match opposing Melbourne City to fellow city rivals Melbourne Victory, hundreds of Melbourne Victory supporters accessed the field, starting a pitch invasion, during which several individuals, including a footballer and a referee, were injured. The Australian Football Association, Football Australia, will also open an investigation into these incidents.
