On 18 May 2025, the Ordinary General Assembly of the Austrian Football Association (ÖFB) convened to elect a new president, former Austrian Vice-Chancellor Josef Pröll.
During the assembly, Josef Pröll was unanimously elected as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the ÖFB, with Johannes Wutzlhofer and Philip Thonhauser appointed as his deputies. He replaces football executive
