The Criminal Court number 9 of Valencia issued on 9 December 2019 a “not guilty” verdict, concluding that there was not enough evidence to convict the former coach of Real Zaragoza, Javier Aguirre, and the vast majority of the players of the said team and UD Levante, who took part in the match played between the two teams on the last day of the 2010-2011 season.
