On 1 December 2022, the First Chamber of the UEFA Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) announced that it had initiated an investigation into Italian giant Juventus FC due to a potential breach of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play regulations after Italian public bodies started their own investigation.
