LaLiga defeats RFEF in the dispute about scheduling matches on Mondays and Fridays


In late June 2021, a Spanish Court issued a new decision in the legal saga opposing the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) to LaLiga (LNFP) regarding the scheduling of football fixtures on Mondays and Fridays. This new ruling challenged the federation’s point of view.

This has been one of the hottest points in the tense relationship between the RFEF and LNFP.

LaLiga wanted matches to be played on both Fridays and Mondays so that they could have ten different kick-off times...
