In mid-March 2023, the CONMEBOL Disciplinary Unit published its latest disciplinary decisions, sanctioning a number of football stakeholders after three CONMEBOL-organized fixtures. The aforementioned decisions were taken on 10 and 14 March 2023.
The CONMEBOL Disciplinary Unit sanctioned three clubs participating in CONMEBOL-organized competitions as well as an individual affiliated with a participating club. They were found guilty of breaching several CONMEBOL provisions during a Copa Libertadores and Recopa matches in February 2023. The resulting sanctions are explained in detail below.
