In mid-May 2023, the CONMEBOL Disciplinary Unit published its latest disciplinary decisions, sanctioning a number of football stakeholders after four CONMEBOL-organized fixtures. The aforementioned decisions were taken on 9 and 10 May 2023 but published at a later date.
The CONMEBOL Disciplinary Unit sanctioned four clubs participating in CONMEBOL-organized competitions. They were found guilty of breaching several CONMEBOL provisions during four Copa Libertadores games in April 2023. The resulting sanctions are explained in detail below.
