Three English football clubs playing in European competitions in the last few months were charged by UEFA for various disciplinary issues.

The quarter final stage of the UEFA Champions League saw two of English football’s biggest clubs - Liverpool and Manchester City - drawn against each other. With the two clubs not only being rivals on the pitch, but also local rivals (with Liverpool being only 50km away from Manchester), the two legs were inevitably going to be eventful.
