On 15 January 2021, CAS issued award TAS 2019/A/6258, ordering the dismissal of the current Executive Committee of the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT) due to irregularities that occurred during the last electoral meeting.

Facts and Procedure

 

As a preliminary remark, it should be stated that 66 Cameroonian clubs and eight members of the FECAFOOT General Assembly appealed the FECAFOOT decision. These clubs and individuals are collectively referred to as the Appellants.

The present case was set in the context of the difficulties that FECAFOOT is going through since 2013, which are at the origin of many disputes.
