When the FIFA General Secretariat issues a proposal, this in no way prejudices a club’s position since clubs could reject FIFA’s proposals or file a response to a claim. In no way should filing a response be considered accepting the proposal.

Facts and Procedure

On 1 October 2020, the Club and the Player entered an employment contract (valid for two seasons, from June 2020 to 4 July 2022).

While the Club entirely fulfilled its obligations for the first season (2020-2021), it failed to comply with the payment of the Player’s salary concerning March, April, May and June of the 2021-2022 season (four months).

On 4 July 2022, when the employment contract expired, the Player sent a 15 days warning notice, whose receipt was acknowledged by the Club, requesting the payment of salaries for March, April, May and June 2022.
