Facts of the Cases


A, B, C and D are four football teams affiliated to the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF). A plays in the first division of the national championship, while the other three have been relegated to the second division. Following an investigation, the FPF Licensing Committee decided on 23 October 2023 that A had breached the applicable regulations and imposed a fine and four penalty points to be deducted from those obtained during the 2023 Peruvian first division championship season.

A, B and C appealed against this decision. According to B and C, as A had breached the regulations applicable during the 2022 season, the penalty of four points should have been deducted from those obtained during the 2022 season, which would have avoided their relegation.
