In this case, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) rejected the appeal filed by the Hungarian club, Békéscsaba 1912 Futball, and confirmed the relevant FIFA decision. The Panel, in line with FIFA, decided that the Bulgarian player, Mr George Koroudjiev, had just cause to terminate his contract after having been sidelined by the club for a couple of weeks with no apparent sporting or legal justification and after having warned the club beforehand.
