Swiss Prosecutor to Appeal Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s Acquittal


The Swiss Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPC) has confirmed that it has appealed to the Court of Appeal of the Federal Criminal Court (TPF) against the judgment handed down by the Court of Criminal Affairs on 30 October 2020. In its appeal, the MPC requests amendments to the judgment of first instance with a view to convicting the three accused (Nasser al-Khelaïfi, Jérôme Valcke and Konstantinos Nteris) for the offences that were the subject of the indictment concerning the attribution of FIFA TV rights.
