On 18 October 2018, the Argentine Football Association (AFA) the new regulations on “Training compensations for young players in Argentinean football” was implemented, aiming to regulate the payment of training compensation at a national level the first time an Argentinean player signs his initial contract as a professional in Argentina, and each time he is transferred until the end of the season of his 23rd birthday, following the rules set forth by the FIFA RSTP.
