In a claim for outstanding commission fees claimed by an agent against an ex client, the Court of Arbitration for Sport decided on the effects of dual representation, prohibited under Article 19.8 of the 2008 FIFA Agent’s Regulations applicable to the case.
The original claim was filed before FIFA and the Single Judge udge rejected the claim for lack of jurisdiction. According to the FIFA decision, the dispute, involving an Argentine player and an Argentine agent was a domestic one and had not international dimension.
