The first COVID-related case in Russia
On 13 May 2021, the Dispute Resolution Chamber of the Football Union of Russia (FUR DRC) published a set of anonymized decisions recently rendered. Among them, there was the first and pretty interesting decision based on a dispute emanating from the COVID-19 pandemic.

A player was loaned to another club and, as the loaning club was not able to match the player's salary, the old club agreed to make some monthly compensatory payments to the player throughout loans, which allowed the player to be paid in the same amount as if he was not in a loan.

The respective agreement was concluded between the old club and the player.
