On 22 November 2016, the Federal Law “On physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation” was supplemented by a new chapter, aiming to regulate activities of agents in sport. The most important novella was the rule that only those individuals and legal entities, that were accredited by respective national associations, may act as intermediaries in sport.
