TV Rights: European Football Stakeholders Win Legal Battle in Rwanda
On 14 October 2020, UEFA announced that the Commercial High Court of Rwanda had upheld the claim filed by the European football’s governing body, the Football Association Premier League Limited (EPL), and French television distributor Canal+ International against a local Rwandese TV channel, regarding the illegal broadcasting of Champions League, Europa League, and Premier League matches in Rwanda.
