Two players from top Russian clubs charged with hooliganism

Russian footballers Aleksandr Kokorin and Pavel Mamaev stayed behind bars until 8 December 2018, awaiting a ruling over charges in hooliganism. A Moscow court made such decision after the players were charged over two violent attacks in Moscow, both being video-recorded.

Aleksandr Kokorin’s club, FC Zenit remained passive and simply removed shirts with his name from its stores.
