On 2 July 2026, the European football governing body announced that the Czech side of Karviná will be excluded from the 2026-2027 Europa League for failing to meet the admission criteria, as it was directly or indirectly involved in activities to fix or influence match results at the national level.
In the case of Karviná, the UEFA Appeals Body declared the club ineligible under Article 4.01 g) of the 2026-2027 Europa League Regulations....
