On 10 May 2022, the European football’s governing body announced its revamped format for inter-club competitions, which will eventually be implemented for the 2024-2025 season.
The UEFA Executive Committee met on 10 May 2022, ahead of UEFA’s 46th Ordinary Congress of 11 May 2022, and decided, amongst other regulatory changes, a new qualification process for UEFA-organized competitions.
