FIFA Circular no. 1752, 26 March 2021

Date of text: 2021-03-26
On 26 March 2021, FIFA published Circular Letter no. 1752 in which it explains the various amendments to its Regulations on the Status and Transfers of Players (RSTP) and the Rules Governing the Procedures of the Players’ Status Committee and the Dispute Resolution Chamber (FIFA Procedural Rules) approved in December 2020, as well as the upcoming Training Compensation 2.0 system.

On 27 February 2020, the FIFA Stakeholders Committee endorsed a modernized training compensation system under the moniker Training Compensation 2.0, which will be introduced as part of the football transfer system’s upcoming reform. It should be noted that the FIFA Council confirmed the principles governing Training Compensation 2.0 in June 2020.
