On 15 November 2022, FIFA announced that it had extended the mandate of the normalization committees appointed to the Haitian Football Federation (HFF) and the Chadian Football Association (FTFA), as both federations still need to implement good governance practices. The Bureau of the FIFA Council took these decisions on 11 November 2022.
