Former Football Association of Ireland CEO John Delaney resigns from the UEFA ExCo


On 20 January 2020, the European Football’s governing body announced the resignation of former Football Association of Ireland (FAI) Executive Vice President and CEO, John Delaney, from the UEFA Executive Committee, with immediate effect.

UEFA issued a statement on 20 January 2020, in which it took note of Mr Delaney’s resignation with immediate effect from his position as a UEFA Executive Committee member. He was due to step down as a UEFA Executive Committee member in 2021.
