Five national football players’ unions from the Balkans have joined four previously announced European unions in supporting the Justice for Players class action against FIFA. Through this coordinated backing, between 25,000 and 35,000 current and former professional footballers across Europe will be directly informed of the legal action, which seeks financial compensation and structural reforms based on EU law principles.
