Although LaLiga is just a sporting organisation, it deals with crime prevention as match-fixing is a criminal offence in Spain, like in many other countries worldwide. LaLiga works with betting operators and regulators, and gives workshops on integrity to players, managers and club staff to make them aware of the importance of integrity in football, for the sake of clean competition, as well as for fans and for themselves.
