Panamanian Football on Strike
On 11 April 2022, the Panamanian Footballers Association (Asociación de Futbolistas de Panamá - AFUTPA) announced that Panamanian footballers would go on strike if the league and clubs did not start negotiations for a collective bargaining agreement as stipulated by Panamanian legal institutions. FIFPRO fully supports the Panamanian union.
